coin project

Hello everyone and thank you for taking the time to help us with our school project.

We came up this idea going to church this sunday. We were talking about how my mom gets junk mail and forwards all the time in her email. Mom said she doesn’t respond to any junk or forwards and she doesn’t understand why people sent them. So we came up with the idea of sending an email to everyone on our list and asking them to send us a coin weather it be a penny, nickle, dime or quarter, with their age and where they live. We wanted to see if people would respond to the email.

I know your asking well were did the coin idea come in, well that was my mom’s idea. She thought if would be neat if we could get people to send us something from where they lived. Then my sister had the idea of how old the person was who was sending and responding to the email. Then my littlet sister wants to keep track of where the coin came from. She is hoping that we get a coin from another country, or at least a coin from someone in each of the States.

That ladies and gentalmen is how we got to were we are today. Mom also thought it would be neat if we could share with everyone how our email, notes and coin collecting was going. So here we are our first day.

Mom went through her email address and emailed all the people she knows, so now we just have to sit and wait to see if we get anything in the mail box.
